This section provides information on all FSN Series Ethernet connections.

FSN-1400
The FSN-1400 has a single
Ethernet
port located on the
System
card. This port
connects to
Ethernet Port 1
on the
FSN-150
or
FSN-250
control panel, either
directly or via an Ethernet switch. By default, the following conditions are set:

OFF

Default IP address:
192.168.0.4
~
Default Netmask:
255.255.255.0
The user can use the default address, or set a different address.

control panels
Each control panel has two Ethernet ports located on the rear panel:

Ethernet Port 1
connects to the
FSN-1400
, either directly or via an
Ethernet Switch. By default, the following conditions are set:

DHCP =
OFF

Default IP address:
192.168.0.5
•
Default Netmask:
255.255.255.0
The user can use the default address, or set a different address.

Ethernet Port 2
can be connected to an outside network, or to your
facility’s “house” network. By default, the following conditions are set:

DHCP =
ON
An IP address can be obtained automatically from the outside network.
Use the
Com Setup Menu
to change IP addresses. In Chapter 6, refer to the
“
” section on page 247 for details.
