Principal diagram subtitling

The following process happens :

Image information together with audio data enters the server. Next to it, separate subtitle

fi

les in multiple

languages are stored on the same server as well as metadata

fi

les.

The operator of the Cinema theatre selects the

fi

lm and the additional subtitling on the server.

The image data will be sent over the SMPTE292 line to the projector. When the subtitling mechanism is
activated inside the projector, this projector will process subtitle data and timings which are sent over a
Ethernet network to the projector. The projector will render the subtitling in overlay to the image.
