Demetra Scope requires servicing.

In case the LED indicator in the grip of the device shows other behavior than during normal operation, please
contact the Barco helpdesk. Your device might need to be swapped. Normal operation of this LED indicator
includes the following:

≤

Check the power cable connection
•
Has the adapter cable been plugged in correctly into the battery charging station?
•
Has the country adapter plug been attached properly?
Use only the power supply included in the Demetra box, or a spare part provided by Barco, for
charging your device.
Data synchronization error
Updates to patient data, including new image captures, are continuously synchronized to the Demetra Cloud,
provided there is a WiFi connection. When the device has a WiFi connection and detects that this
synchronization is not succeeding, the device will signal a synchronization error. If the synchronization fails
critically, a warning will be shown in a pop-up message, with the recommendation to restart the device and/or
contact the Barco helpdesk. This failed synchronization state will also be shown in the status bar menu, along
with a distinct error code. If this error persists, please contact the Barco helpdesk.
When the device is in this state, do not perform a factory reset unless instructed by the Barco helpdesk.
Otherwise images and/or data might get lost.
Factory reset
In some instances, a factory reset of your device might be required, e. g., when the device needs to be
swapped or after a data synchronization error.
Complete the following steps to perform a factory reset of your device:
1. On the Demetra Scope:
a) Access the
Settings
menu:
◦
Before login: directly from the login screen at the top left corner
◦
After login: by tapping or swiping down the status bar at the top right corner
b) Select
Factory reset
c) Confirm to reset the device
