3. Components of the DB-220 Display
3.2 Clamps
Introduction
The clamps are used to mount the display assembly onto the support structure. In order to answer to different types of support
structures, the are two different types of clamps.
Using three vertical I-beams as support structure
This con fi guration is presumed to be the standard con fi guration. In this manual, this type of clamps will be
used to explain the mounting process of the DB-220 display on the support structure.
For the successful assembly of the DB-220 display, a minimum of 3 vertical I-beams each using 6 clamps is required. To answer to
different vertical mounting distances, the clamps are mounted into a rail system inside the DB-220 display structure.
Each clamp has 4 correction plates (A) to compensate potential vertical variation in I-beam alignment.

Using an existing support structure consisting of horizontal I-beams
The installation method using this type of clamps is similar to the method using the standard clamps.
These clamps are used to mount the DB-220 display upon an existing support structure which consists of horizontal I-beams.
