Red CRT Projection Angle Adjustment
7.8 Sheimpflug Adjustment (Diagonal Image Focusing)
Introduction
With the diagonal image focusing corrections, it is possible to obtain uniform focus for the total projected image. These corrections
must be repeated for each color. The Diagonal image focusing is repeated 3 times, first for green, then for red and then for blue.
Following screen will be displayed:
DIAGONAL IMAGE FOCUSING
1.TURN THE SCREW MARKED 01
TO FOCUS THE IMAGE
DIAGONALLY FROM LEFT
(BOTTOM) TO RIGHT (TOP).
2.TURN THE SCREW MARKED 00
TO FOCUS THE IMAGE
DIAGONALLY FROM LEFT (TOP)
TO RIGHT (BOTTOM).

Menu 7-8
First, be sure that the CRT projection angle is correctly adjusted, otherwise it is not possible to obtain proper
overall focus of the image.
How to adjust the Sheimpflug for the Green CRT?
1. Equalize now diagonally the focus from left (bottom) to right (top) by turning bolt 01. (image 7-15)
2. Equalize diagonally the focus from left (top) to right (bottom) by turning bolt 00 of the projected color.
3. Repeat step 1 to 2 for each color.
4. After finishing the Installation Adjustment Procedure, the main menu returns on the screen.
