2.1.2 Temperature monitoring
Sensors monitor temperature values in various places (CPU, interfaces, display, interface
board) in the PP500. The locations of the temperature sensors can be found in figure "Image
3: Temperature sensor locations", on page 26 . The value listed in the table represents the
defined maximum temperature for this measurement point

. An alarm is not triggered when
this temperature is exceeded. The temperatures can be read in BIOS or in approved Microsoft
Windows operating system and Automation Runtime, using B&R Control Center.
2.2 Humidity specifications
The following table displays the minimum and maximum relative humidity for the individual
components that are relevant for the humidity limitations of the entire device. The lowest and
highest common values are always used when establishing these limits.
