11 Exchanging a PCI SATA RAID hard disk in a RAID 1 system
In the example, the assumption is made that the secondary hard disk (HDD1) is defective in a RAID 1 configuration.
In such a case, the defective hard disk can be replaced by the replacement drive SATA hard disk.

A size 10 Torx screwdriver is needed for exchanging the hard disk.
11.1 Procedure
1. Disconnect the power supply.
2. Touch the housing or ground connection in order to discharge any electrostatic charge from your body.
3. Remove the side cover.
4. Remove the SATA RAID insert.
5. Loosen the 4 appropriate mounting screws (M3x5).

6. On the front side, slide the hard disk down and away (Figure 275: Hard disk exchange - left image).
7. Insert the new hard disk carefully into the connector (Figure 275: Hard disk exchange - right image), being
careful to only touch it on the front, and not on the top.
