Analog sin/cos interface (1Vpp) (BML SL1-ALZ_-_ _ZZ-A…)
When operating IO-Link and the analog
interface at the same time noise may be
generated on the analog signal and result in a
worsening of the signal quality!
To operate both at the same time with no
degradation of signal quality use appropriate
filtering. For details refer to the document
Interfaces for BML Magnetic Encoder .
With the analog sine and cosine sA (+sin), −A (−
sin), +B (+cos) and −B (−cos), the controller evaluates the
difference in signal amplitudes and, from the signals,
interpolates the precise position within a period. For a
movement over several periods, the controller also counts
the number of periods. The period is 2 mm.
