Variant Configuration

The following three variants are available:
– LSSC

– AdSS

– Comprehensive Condition Monitoring
They differ in the configuration of the process data and of

the available switching profiles.
Furthermore, there are differences in the configuration

options for the switching interval (see chapter 4.3 on

page 26).
In the

Comprehensive Condition Monitoring

variant, the

configuration of the switching interval behaves as in the

LSSC profile. This profile serves as a full configuration for

the Condition Monitoring functions and supplies all

available data.

After a variant changeover, an inconsistent

configuration may occur because there is no

automatic changeover of parameters.

It is therefore recommended that the setup be

done in the following order:

Device Variant

This parameter indicates which variant is currently set. The

device variant can be changed either with this parameter

or by using the IO-Link compatibility mode. If this

parameter is written, the device variant is not changed

immediately but instead after the device is restarted. If the

device variant is changed via the IO-Link compatibility

mode, the change in this parameter is visible immediately.
This parameter is not changed by a reset.
The following device variants are available:

has a separate process data profile with Condition Monitoring information and

LSCC data.
