Follow steps (1) to (6) of the Auto Assign Procedure (page 45) to
open the “Line Parameters” menu.

1. Select the line required (in this example Outstation 1) and

the parameters for that line will be displayed.

2. Press the Encoder to change the icon of the Outstation to

match the Remote Unit in use.

The available Icons are:

Disabled Toilet Alarm x 2 (Dual Pullcords)

Roaming Telephone Jack Socket

Roaming Telephone Enclosure

Disable Refuge with Firephone (Future Use)

3. Scroll up or down to highlight the Icon suitable for the

Remote Unit in use.

4. Press the Encoder to store the correct Icon.

OTE

: The Outstation Type is normally specified during the SD or IP

Configuration. This procedure shows how to manually specify the
outstation type using the front panel controls.
