LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE
Daily:
•
Check daily for any unsafe conditions and fix immediately.
•
Check that all nuts and bolts are properly tightened.
Weekly:
•
On a weekly basis clean the machine and the area around it.
•
Disassemble, clean blades, and apply an EP grease to eccentric shaft/blade contact area.
•
Lubricate threaded components and sliding devices.
•
Apply rust inhibitive lubricant to all non-painted surfaces.
Gear Oil Changing
1. Disconnect machine from power supply before
performing any maintenance. Failure to comply
may result in serious injury.
2. It is recommended that the oil be replaced every
2,500 operating hours.
3. Remove set screw to drain.
4. Capacity approximately
– 2.1qts (2.0L).
5. Remove cover and clean out any lingering chips or
debris around blade area, as needed.
6. Periodically check tightness of all screws.
