ASSEMBLY AND SET UP
Note: The hydraulic unit weights
about 90lbs (41kg). For placing the unit in the
correct position, use and assistant or safe
lifting equipment to lift the unit.
During shipping, the hydraulic unit is mounted
in the inside of the frame.
To place the unit in working position:
1. Remove and retain the two cap screws (A)
holding the hydraulic tank assembly to the
shipping mount.
2. Place the hydraulic assembly on the mounting bar
on the right side of the press and install the two
cap screws removed from the shipping mount.
Tighten securely.
3. Install the upper support bolt (B) into the weld nut
near the top of the tank.
4. Tighten the bolt until the tank is level. The tank
may lean outward (toward the drain plug) up to 2°.
5. Tighten the jam nut to the frame plate.
WARNING:
For your own safety, DO NOT connect the machine to the
power source until the machine is completely assembled and you read and
understand the entire instruction manual.
