TROUBLESHOOTING
FAULT PROBABLE CAUSE REMEDY
MOTOR DOES
NOT RUN
Motor incorrectly wired.
Relays or motor defective.
Selector switch is in the “OFF”
position.
Thermal protection of motor
defective.
Fuses blown.
Emergency stop button depressed. Have checked by qualified electrician.
Replace faulty component.
Turn switch to “ON”
Replace thermal protector.
Find reason for blown fuses and
replace.
Clear problem and twist button to
reset.
EXCESSIVE
BOUNCING OR
BREAKING OF
THE BLADE
Damaged saw blade edge.
Using excessive down force on the
blade Replace the blade.
Don’t force blade
MOTOR RUNS
BUT BLADE
DOES NOT
ROTATE
Broken or missing belts. Replace damaged or missing belts.
(Use matched set)
SAW BLADE
SLIPS
Improper belt tension.
Nut and blade washer not properly
tightened. Tighten jackscrew on motor base.
Tighten nut and washer.
WARNING:
Make sure the electrical disconnect is OFF before working on
the machine.
