4.2 Ending a Test

WARNING!

Burn Hazard.

Do not touch the probe after

removing it from a flue. Allow the probe to cool before han

-

dling (about 5 minutes).

After takng a gas sample, remove the probe and take the analyzer to an

area contanng fresh ar. Allow the pump to run untl the CO readng

drops to near zero.

4.3 Turning OFF the Analyzer

Turn OFF the analyzer by pressng the

I/O

button. The analyzer wll count

down from 5 before turnng OFF. Pressng

ENTER

, however, wll abort the

count down and keep the analyzer ON.

Note:

The analyzer will automatically turn itself OFF after

20 minutes of keyboard inactivity, unless the detected CO

level is above 50 ppm.

4.4 CO Purge During Turn OFF

If the detected CO level s above 50 ppm when the analyzer s turned OFF,

the unt wll reman ON wth ts pump runnng and dsplay “PUrG CO”.

The countdown from 5 wll not begn untl the CO level drops below

50 ppm.

durng CO purge wll return the analyzer to the CO

measurement screen. Although not recommended for routne use, the CO

purgng process can be bypassed by pressng the

I/O

button a second tme,

whch wll mmedately turn OFF the analyzer.
