In this condition, the services are configured without any limitations:

•

TELNET is switched ON

•

the root of the internal memory is set as the FTP Server root

•

EXPLORER is switched ON

With this set up, all the files inside the device are visible from outside or directly on board (thanks to
the EXPLORER service). Therefore there isn't any control or restriction on these.

NOTE: the UNLOCKED status is not compatible with a system legal for trade
usage!

5.4.3

The UNLOCK KEY

The unlocking of a locked device should not be required, except for very few situations

. This

because

all the procedures available in Start application work also when device is locked

.

Since this procedure is very critical and potentially dangerous for the system, no anyone is
authorized to execute that. This limitation is managed by the fact a key is required to unlock the
device.

NOTE: only the authorized technicians are able to generate the key to unlock
the device.

NOTE: this procedure has to be used only when strictly necessary!

NOTE: remember to re-lock the device when the operation is complete!
