Software update

 

This  procedure  updates  the  software  application  installed  on  the  device.  Through  this  function,  a 
different  (newer  or  older)  version  of  the  same  software  can  be  installed.  But  also  a  complete 
different kind of software can be installed to replace the current one. 

To  complete  the  procedure,  a  proper  installation  pack  (a  ZIP  archive  with  a  predefined  internal 
structure) has to be present on the device. This means: 

1.

 

the installation pack shall be retrieved from who has developed the application 

2.

 

the installation pack shall be copied on one of the available memory devices (see Appendix 

3.
