Operation
A message asking if the line is discon-
nected from the patient is displayed.

The “Prime infusion line” function is
started after an air alarm. It enables the line
to be primed by the pump without having
to remove it. The line must be disconnected
from the patient for this purpose.

and open the roller clamp.

The pump will perform a calibration of
the tube.
Note:
Only when the pump is switched on,
the door is completely closed, and the dis-
posable item is correctly inserted, will the
pump have control over the disposable item
and thus protect against free flow.

Priming the infusion line
Manually prime and insert the line. Alter-
natively, the line can also be primed by the
pump. The line must be disconnected from
the patient for this purpose.

This additional function is not
available in the pump factory default.
The function can be activated by a service
technician on request.

delivery rate (1,200 ml/h), the air sensor is
deactivated and the pressure alarm thresh-
old is automatically increased to 9.
