Rinsing volume
The rinsing volume can be increased beyond the
set minimum rinsing volume of 2400 ml.
Default setting:
2400 ml
Range:
2400 ÷ 20000 ml
Step size:
100 ml
Plasma volume
Default setting:
3000 ml
Range:
100 ÷ 6000 ml
Step size:
50 ml
With a plasma volume > 3000 ml, it must be taken
into account that the acetate buffer bag and the
dialysate bags must be changed.
Balance
Default setting:
0 g
Range:
-600 ÷ 0 g
Step size:
50 g
This is not an ultrafiltration within the context of a
dialysis. This option provides the possibility of
additionally removing the existing physiological saline
solution or to balance the physiological saline
solution required for blood reinfusion. When setting a
balance, it must be observed that this changes the
hematocrit value of the blood and could make the
separation of plasma sometimes more difficult.
CAUTION
Risk to the patient due to hypotension in rare
cases.
Change the therapy as prescribed by the
supervising physician.
Heparin bolus
Default setting:
1 ml
Range:
0 ÷ 10 ml
Step size:
0.5 ml
Heparin flow
Default setting:
2 ml/h
Range:
0 ÷ 10 ml/h
Step size:
0.5 ml/h
CAUTION
Risk to patient due to insufficient or too high
heparinisation.
Use only 30 ml Omnifix® Luer Lock syringes
from B. Braun Melsungen AG. Calibration of
the heparin syringe pump is ensured only with
use of the Omnifix© Luer Lock syringe.
