4. Les directives pour l’installation sur support
The Algonquin Outdoor Speakers can be mounted using a bracket that
secures the speaker using a standard bolt. If you are mounting the speakers
upright on a wall, post, or beam, we suggest the Axiom Full Metal Bracket
(www.axiomaudio.com/fullmetalbracket.html) for a sturdy, weatherproof
mount.
If you are mounting the speakers from a ceiling, we suggest the Axiom
Ceiling Bracket (www.axiomaudio.com/fullmetalceilingbracket.html). For
ceiling mounting, the speaker must be turned so that the top and bottom
are the widest parts of the speaker.
There are two mounting holes on the rear panel of the Algonquin speaker,
to be used as follows:
1. Use the Centre hole for upright or sideways
mounting with an Axiom FMB Wall Bracket.
2. Use the offset hole (the one closest to the long
dimension of the speaker) for sideways mounting
with an Axiom FMCB ceiling bracket.
Speaker Design
If you drop your speaker into a pool, unscrew the woofer and pull it out of
the cabinet to drain the speaker. Reinstall the woofer and the speaker is
ready for use again. The screened, angled port prevents water from entering
the speaker under normal circumstances.

qu’un boulon standard. Si vous faites une installation verticale sur un mur, un poteau
ou une poutre, nous suggérons d’utiliser un support mural tout en métal d’Axiom
« FMB » (www.axiomaudio.com/fullmetalbracket.html) pour une installation
robuste et résistante aux intempéries.
Pour une installation au plafond, nous suggérons d’utiliser un support pour plafond
tout en métal d’Axiom « FMCB » (www.axiomaudio.com/fullmetalceilingbracket.
html). Pour une installation au plafond, on doit pivoter l’enceinte de façon à ce que le
dessus et le dessous de l’enceinte deviennent les côtés gauche et droit de celle-ci.
Le panneau arrière de l’enceinte Algonquin comporte deux orifices qui doivent
s’utiliser comme suit:
1. Utilisez l’orifice centrale pour une installation verticale
ou horizontal si vous utilisez le support mural tout en
métal d’Axiom « FMB ».
2. Utilisez l’orifice décentrée (celle la plus près du coté long de
l’enceinte) pour une installation horizontale si vous utilisez
le support pour plafond tout en métal d’Axiom « FMCB ».
Design de l’enceinte
Si vous échappez votre enceinte dans une piscine, dévissez le transducteur de grave et
retirez le de sa cavité pour laisser égoutter l’eau. Revissez le transducteur et l’enceinte
est prête à reprendre le service. L’évent avec moustiquaire possède un angle qui
empêche l’eau de pénétrer à l’intérieure de l’enceinte sous des conditions normales
d’utilisation.

The Axiom Warranty
All our speaker models; towers, bookshelves, surrounds,
centers, subwoofers and all our amplifiers; subwoofer
and multichannel amplifiers are warrantied against
manufacturer’s defects for 5 years.
AXIOM CANADA INC. warrants this audio loudspeaker
system (the “Product”) to be free from original manufacturing
defects in materials and workmanship for five years from
date of purchase from an authorized Axiom dealer. This
warranty extends only to the original consumer purchaser.
AXIOM CANADA INC. does not warrant goods used in
commercial or industrial applications. This warranty does
not cover any expenses incurred in any removal or re-
installation of the product.
If the product should prove so defective within the warranty
period, return the product by prepaid delivery to AXIOM
CANADA INC., along with the original sales invoice or
other proof of purchase, which establishes eligibility for
warranty service. AXIOM CANADA INC. will, at its option,
replace or repair the product free of charge and return the
product by prepaid delivery. This warranty does not apply to
any product, which has been damaged, misused, altered or
repaired by anyone other than an AXIOM CANADA INC.

Any implied warranties including fitness for use and
merchantability are limited in duration to the period of
the express warranties set forth above, and no person is
authorized to assume for Axiom Canada Inc. any other
liability in connection with the sale of the product. Axiom
Canada Inc. expressly disclaims liability for any incidental
and consequential damages caused by the product. The
remedies provided under this warranty are exclusive and in
lieu of all others.
This warranty gives specific legal rights. In addition, there
may be other legal rights arising from the sale of the product,
which vary from province to province or state to state. Some
provinces / states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation
or exclusion may not apply in some areas.

1. Les Enceintes:
Turn the speakers around and look at the back panel. You’ll see a pair of 5-way
clear-plastic binding posts, to which you are going to connect the speaker
cables from your receiver or amplifier.
Each gold binding post has a colored ring around it-- RED is POSITIVE,
BLACK is NEGATIVE. Most receiver and amplifier manufacturers use this
color code and you should use it as well--it makes things a lot easier to hook
up your speaker cables.
You will also see a positive (+) sign engraved in the plastic beneath the RED
binding post, and a negative (-) sign beneath the BLACK post. Your amplifier
may or may not have these positive and negative symbols. If you wish, you can
use these symbols along with the color coding to guide you.

pas nécessairement doté de ces symboles positifs et négatifs. Ils sont complémentaires
aux codes couleur et vous aideront à respecter la polarité de vos connexions.
