Connecting to the Internet Access: Cable Connection

Overview

If you have a cable connection with a cable modem, you can connect
the FRITZ!Box to the cable modem, from where it interfaces with the
cable connection. Use a network cable.

Example Configuration

Instructions: Connecting to a Cable Modem

1.

Connect the one end of the network cable to the LAN (Ethernet)
port on the cable modem.

2.

Insert the other end of the network cable into the “LAN 1” port
on the FRITZ!Box.
