Installing Modules
Once the frame has been partially disassembled you can install optional expansion modules, including Display Modules.
Installing Channel Strip, Master Joystick, Master Post, or Knob Modules
To install expansion modules into the frame, follow the instructions in “Overview of Installation” on page 14.
When adding Option Modules into previously empty chassis:
• Make sure the chassis has enough power and Ethernet cables (see “Positioning Cables” on page 16).
• Use Fill Panels to cover empty slots and to keep modules aligned horizontally as explained in “Fill Panels, Compression Pan-
els, and T-Strips” on page 24.
Installing Display Modules
To install Display Modules, follow the instructions in “Installing Display Modules” on page 23.
Re-assemble the System
After installing modules, follow the instructions beginning in “Fill Panels, Compression Panels, and T-Strips” on page 24 to re-as-
semble the system.
Update the Surface Configuration
After adding or re-arranging modules you must update the surface configuration. Power up the system, navigate the touchscreen
to
Settings > Surface
, then follow the on-screen instructions to configure your surface.
