Installing AirSpeed Multi Stream Device Services

8. Click Next.

9. Click Install to complete the installation.

After installation, verify that the services are running as expected on each computer in the
workgroup. For more information, see

“Viewing Status of Services” on page 183

Installing AirSpeed Multi Stream Device Services

The Command installation CD provides for installation of services associated with various
production devices, such as the AirSpeed 5000 or AirSpeed Multi Stream. Both of these video
servers use the AMS device service.There is no separate AirSpeed 5000 device service.

Unlike other device services, the AirSpeed Multi Stream device service is not part of the Command
installation program. It’s a separate install program, located on the CD.

To install the AirSpeed Multi Stream device service on the video server:

1. Insert the Command installation CD (or access the install program from the network).

2. Navigate to and double-click on

AvidAirSpeedMultiStreamDeviceService.exe

.

3. After the Welcome dialog box appears, click Next. The License Agreement appears.
