Enabling Object Placeholders
MediaCentral Command supports the ENPS object placeholder workflow, which lets users enter
video IDs for placeholders rather than have them automatically generated.
To enable object placeholder creation for ENPS:
1. In Command, click Tools > System Settings.
2. Expand the MOS category.
3. Select Advanced.
4. Select the Create object placeholders check box.
To add an object placeholder in ENPS:
1. Select the correct object placeholder story cell in the ENPS rundown.
2. In the placeholder menu, select the correct MOS ID.
3. Enter the name you would like to use for the placeholder.
4. Click OK.
You should see the placeholder in the ENPS rundown, and also in Command when the rundown
is MOS Active and Ready to Air.
