Download the MediaCentral Command Tablet Application

You can now have the user download the tablet application to the device and configure the
connection.

Download the MediaCentral Command Tablet
Application

To use an iPad touch-screen tablet to control playout, you must download the MediaCentral
Command tablet application from iTunes (App) store to the device.

To download the tablet application:

1. Open the iTunes (App) store.

2. Locate the MediaCentral Command tablet application.

3. Tap Free, then the Install button.

Configure the Tablet Application Connection

Before a user can connect to your Command workgroup with the tablet application, some additional
configuration is necessary.

After downloading the tablet application, you will need to open the Command application, configure
the connection, and get authorized to connect to the system.

To configure the tablet application connection:

1. Open the Command tablet application on the device.

2. Tap Create New.

The New Connection information will appear.

3. In the Name field, enter an alias for the connection. This should be an easy-to-recognize name,

such as Studio A.

4. In the Hostname field, enter the name of the computer running the Avid Remote Communication

Service.
