Introduction
2.3 Tolerance entry procedure
When you are in a tolerance entry screen the yellow
OVER
segments flash as a
reminder.
shows the key functions when in this mode.

In tolerance entry screens, the segments shown in
flash. Use the keys, as
described in
, to enter a value on the display. Following is an example:
Example: To increase a value of 0.002 to 0.125:
Press and hold
TARE(
)
key until the number approaches
0.125
. Number will increase
by
0.010
s for a short time and then by
0.100
s.
Press and release
TARE(
)
to increment the right most digit by 1.
If you overshoot, press and release
SELECT(
)
to decrement the right most digit by 1.
Press and hold
SELECT(

to decrease the value by
0.010
s and then by
0.100
s, the
longer you hold it.
When the display show 0.125, or the value you desire, press the
ZERO
key to enter or
accept the value. The screen returns to the previous mode.
If you are in a target or tolerance value entry screen and no key is pressed within five
seconds, the scale will act as if the
F1
/Escape key was pressed and return to the
previous screen without saving any information.
