This  option defines  nam es  for eac h field in a form at, whic h c an be longer than eight c harac ters . 
This  option  is  only  available  on the XML-enabled printer.

Defines  the nam e for text  field  2 as  “SALEPRICE_FIELD.” 

U s i n g   O p t i o n  3 0   ( P a d   D a t a )  

Add  c harac ters  to one  s ide of a field  to  “pad” the field.  Padding  fills   in the  rem aining s pac es  when 
entered data does  not fill an entire field. If a variable length field is  not c om pletely filled  with 
batc h data,  this  option  fills  the rem aining  pos itions  in the  field  with the  c harac ter des ignated by 
Option 30.

Sample  Use for  Padding

s upply.  If  the m axim um  num ber of c harac ters  in the  bar c ode is  15, but the  batc h pac ket only has  
10 c harac ters , the  padding  option  fills  the  rem ainder of the  field  with pad c harac ters .
