Customizing the telephone

Setting acoustics, contrast and language

You can modify various acoustic settings and the display contrast to suit your requirements.

The language for the display texts can be changed at any time. The languages available are
English, German, Italian, French, Spanish and Dutch.

Set acoustics

Press the "Menu" function key.

Scroll to the

Settings

menu item.

Confirm your selection.

Scroll to the

Display / Acoustics

menu item.

Confirm your selection.

Scroll to the

Set acoustics

menu item.

Confirm your selection.

Scroll to the desired menu item, for example

Ringing tone

Increase or reduce volume. New ring settings are sounded immediately so you can

check them.

Confirm the input. The new setting is saved.

•

You can access the acoustics menu directly from your telephone’s basic state using the
keys

and

•

You can change the individual settings during a call using the

and

keys. A status

window for making settings opens.

•

You can also change any setting by pressing the digit key for the desired setting or by
pressing and .

•

If you want to reset all of the audio settings to the factory settings, select the "Default set-
tings" menu item.
