Chapter 5:  Replacing a DVD drive

Prerequisites

Shut down the server.

1. Press the release button to the left of the DVD drive bay.

2. Slip the faulty DVD drive out of the drive bay.

3. Slide the replacement DVD drive into the bay until it is fully seated.

Next steps

Restore power to the server.
