This Job Aid describes the procedures to replace a dual network interface card in the Avaya
S8510 server.
Replacement materials and tools
Verify that you have the following equipment and tools on site:

Dual NIC Card, Material ID 700455546
•
Services laptop and crossover cable
•
#2 Phillips (cross-point) screwdriver
•
Electrostatic wrist ground strap and mat
Required information
•
If you back up the server to a network device, you must have this information:
- User Name
- Password
- Host Name
- Directory
