Specifies the IPv6 address and prefix length
to assign to the port.

<slot-id>

Specifies the slot number where the port is
located. If a slot ID is not specified, the
address is configured for the current SF/
CPU.

Configuring a management route

Configure a management route to establish communication between networks.

Procedure steps

Configure the management route by using the following command:

config sys net6-mgmt route add

<network IPv6 address> <network gateway>
