Configuring manual tunnels

Create a tunnel to transfer traffic between IPv6 devices in an IPv4 network. Configure manual

tunnels when you want to define both the local and destination addresses.

Use this procedure to configure the tunnel at both the source and destination addresses.

Procedure steps

1. Configure the tunnel at the source by using the following command:

config ipv6 tunnel

<tunnel id>

create local-addr

<source ipv4 address>

ipv6addr

<source ipv6 address/prefix length>

remote-address

<remote ipv4

address>

2. Configure the tunnel at the destination by using the following command:
