The default configuration can be restored from the Web UI. (The procedure for 
logging on to the Web UI is described in 

Log in to the Web User Interface (page 32)

Note: When the unit is restored to factory default settings, all remote 

connections to the unit are lost. This includes the Web UI connection.

The Operations menu shown as follows includes a 

Defaults

 button.

When the

 button is clicked, you are asked to confirm the change. If you 

confirm, the following message appears:

The system reload disconnects the Web UI from the BSGX4e device. The IP addresses 
for the BSGX4e data interfaces are restored to their defaults.
