Specifying system preferences
About this task
System preferences allow you to customize how the Avaya Aura
®
AS 5300 Office Client behaves
when the PC enters low power mode. Low power mode is one of the following:
•
Standby
: Power to most PC components is off, but RAM remains powered in order to preserve
system state.
•
Hibernate
: The system state is saved to the hard drive, and power to all PC components is
turned off.
•
Eject
: Similar to Standby, but it causes a hardware re-configuration to occur in the PC.
Use this procedure to set your
System
preferences.
Procedure
1. Select
Multimedia
>
Preferences
>
System
.
2. Select the check box beside Logout on system standby.
3. Click
OK
to save your changes or click
Cancel
to exit without saving.

Ignore
button on a receiving call
Conversation
window. Do one of the following:
• Select the
Ignore action affects AS 5300 UC Client only
check box to silence ringing
only on the Avaya Aura
®
AS 5300 Office Client; your other network devices continue to
ring.
