2.6 Halogen light power adjustment
The halogen light, that is focused through the Deuterium Lamp 0,5 mm aperture, can be regulated
in the optical power to match the Deuterium output. In order to obtain a more “ balanced”
spectrum, the multi-turn potentiometer in the backside of the light source can be turned to
regulate the halogen power.
2.7 I/O connector
For automatic shutter control to be controlled by software it is needed to connect an AvaSpec
spectrometer to the AvaLight-D(H)-S with the interface cable IC-DB26-2. Now it is possible to
control the shutter by software (AvaSoft).
The signals on the I/O connector are described below.
