Selecting the Language Function: The AVT-3400 can display either English or
Chinese text. The default is English and unless you have a special need, you
shouldn’t have to make an adjustment to this area.
If you do need to make the change, simply navigate to the Language selection,
Press the Select Button and then use the Up and Down arrow buttons followed
by a second press of the Select Button to store the new language display default.
Press the Exit button when you have finished.
5.3 Selecting the Reset Function: If you wish to return the AVT-3400 to the
factory default setting, navigate to the Reset function and press the Select
button. Factory Defaults for all adjustments except resolution will be restored.
5.4 Special Button Functions: There are a few buttons on the Remote
Control whose function may not be immediately clear. The operation of those
buttons is as follows:
MTS Button : This button allows the selection of the Second Language Audio
Channel (if it is present) and also it forces the AVT-3400 to provide audio in
either the Mono or Stereo format. It’s a toggle button meaning it first goes to
Mono when pressed and if pressed again, it goes next to Stereo operation. If
pressed a third time it will decode the second audio channel if present. If pressed
a fourth time, it will repeat the process again starting with Mono audio.
OSD Button: When you press this button, the input source or current channel
will be displayed on the screen. Pressing the button a second time will hide the
OSD display.
RCL Button: Each time you change the channel, the channel you just left is
retained in memory. By pressing the RCL (Recall) button, you revert to the last
viewed channel.
For the color selection, you use the Up and Down buttons plus the Select button. To
exit, press the Exit button to return the AVT-3400 to normal operation.
