.. VIA LOCAL FTP SERVER
The UHD Player hosts a local FTP Server. Using any FTP Client software, you may connect to the UHD
Player and delete and/or copy files from/to the playe
r’s SD Card.
PLEASE NOTE:
If you have changed the contents on the SD Card through FTP access or the file browser in the
Web Interface, the UHD Player needs to rescan the sources. Please click on the
on the “SD Card” or “USB” page of the Web Interface (depending on which
data carrier device is used) to start the scan.
In the Web Interface, click on [ADVANCED SETTINGS] in the
and then on [LOCAL FTP
SERVER]. The drop-down menu will open and the settings for the local FTP Server will appear.

[Activation]
The p
layer’s Local FTP Server is activated b
y default. If you do not want to use this function, you may
disable the Server by choosing “Off” from the drop
-down list.
[Username]
By default, the user name of the p
layer’s local FTP server is set to “AVS”. You may change this name
to any other by entering it into the text field below.
[Password]
The Password for the Username is set to “AVStumpfl” by default. This can be changed to any other
word by entering it into the text field below.
Please confirm your changes by pressing [Apply Settings] at the bottom of the page.
In the initialization file (“UHDPlayerSetting.ini”)
