The Jump Starter has a built in rechargeable battery. Although it arrives partially charged from the factory, we
recommend that you fully charge it before the first use.
Charging Socket Red Charging Light
•
Plug the AC/DC Adapter into the power outlet and then plug the opposite end into the charging socket.
The red LED light above the charging socket will illuminate to show that the unit is charging. When the
light changes color to green the battery is fully charged and should be disconnected from the power
outlet.
•
DO NOT continuously charge the unit for more than 36 hours.
•
Use ONLY the power cords provided with this unit. Otherwise you may damage the unit and void the
warranty.
•
Charge this unit between 6-12 hours after each use and every 2 months unless the LED lights indicate
otherwise.
•
To recharge with the Car Charging Adapter plug the small end into the charging socket and the other
end into your vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket or 12V power port. Full charging will take approximately
6-12 hours. NOTE: Some vehicle’s cigarette lighters and 12V power ports do not operate unless the
ignition switch is in the accessory position.
