Adding a Stop Line Presence Zone
This type of zone is defined at the stop line of the junction and detects the
presence of vehicles and bicycles as they enter the zone. One or more zones can
be defined for an intersection; the number is dependent on the requirements of
the site. After laying out the physical zones, conditions and actions can be
defined for each zone.
NOTES:
•
Including overlapping zones in a configuration is not recommended as
this can cause poor detection performance.
•
Adding or editing a zone while playing video may cause these operations
to appear delayed or jerky.
•
Data collection and turning movements will be available in a future
release, but it is good to consider that now.
•
A single zone covering multiple lanes is not recommended for Pulse
outputs, as pulses may not be accurate for shared zones.
IMPORTANT:
If the zoom setting is changed after the calibration and zone
setup have been done, the camera will go into failsafe mode.
For additional information, see
.
Zones can be added by either importing the calibration layout or manually.
