Converting & Exploding Entity Types

Exploding Entities

AutoSketch can explode dimensions, symbols, groups, and markers to their 
component entities. This allows you to edit the individual components of an 
entity. On the Draw menu, click Symbol, Create if you want to update a 
symbol definition after editing its components. For more information on 
creating symbols, see “Creating Symbol Definitions” on page 173. You must 
select the component entities first. 

To explode an entity

Select the entity you want to explode.

On the Edit menu, click Explode, or click the Explode button on the 
edit bar.
