1. Place the Keel on stand as illustrated.
Bowsprit
2. Attach Bowsprit at bow, using two screws to secure to deck.
3. Hook center bowsprit line to the bow eyelet (E1).
Hook side bowsprit lines to bow side eyelets (E2 & E3).
Note: If a line is loose after a step is completed, run sliding
adjusters up line until taut. Take care when untying bundle of
rigging lines so as not to tangle.
Mast & Boom
4. Gently unroll sail set. Pick up the sails using the Mast
pole. All remaining sails are attached to the Mast
and will hang loosely until they are attached to their
appropriate places. Insert Mast into the Mast Step
with the Mainsail Boom pointing aft toward Stern.
5. Hook line from eyelet (E4) at end of Boom to
aft deck Traveler Bar.
Shrouds & Stays
6. Hook Shroud lines (running from top of
Mast to Spreaders) to port and starboard
deck side eyelets (E5 & E6).
7. Hook lines originating at mid-Mast to
port and starboard deck side
eyelets (E7 & E8).
8. Hook Forestay line end to
eyelet (E9) near tip of Bowsprit.
Main Sail
9. Secure Mainsail by hooking
end of zig zag line coming
from Mainsail upper spar
to port deck eyelet
(E10). Hook end of
remaining line
coming from
Mainsail upper spar
to eyelet (E10).
Gaff Sail
10. Hook eyelet (E11) at top of the Gaff Sail to the
eyelet at the top of the Mast. Hook line from bottom
corner of Gaff Sail to fore deck Traveler Bar.
Jib Sails
11. Hook fore end of 1st Jib sail to Bowsprit eyelet (E13).
Hook aft end of 1st Jib to fore deck Traveler Bar.
12. Hook fore end of 2nd Jib to bowsprit eyelet (E14).
Hook aft end of 2nd Jib to deck
eyelet (E12).
13. Hook aft end of
3rd Jib to deck
eyelet (E12).
