Remote Expert

Remote Expert is a cloud-based solution developed by Autel. Remote Expert uses cloud-
based servers deployed worldwide to construct a manufacture-level expert support
platform, helping technicians solve vehicle diagnostics and maintenance problems
quickly and efficiently. (The Remote Expert function is provided in later version).

6.1 Device Connection

6.1.1 Technician-side Connection

Before establishing a connection between the D1 Pro tablet, the Internet, and vehicle,
the VCI device must be connected to the tablet. For details, see

Establishing Vehicle

Communication

on page 16. After the connection is complete, technicians can send

diagnostics and maintenance requirements using the Remote Expert application on the
tablet
