Telephone Book Authorisation
You can add telephone book authorisation to the exchange line authorisations to add options
for dialling specific phone numbers if restricted exchange line authorisation is in place.
This then enables you to approve specific phone numbers for a dial attempt. With telephone
book authorisation you are permitted to dial all the phone numbers entered in the
Telephone
book version 1
contact group of the address books.
Important:
The telephone book authorisation only becomes effective if no corresponding
exchange line authorisation is present on any of the external connections.
If only the
Internal only, no emergency calls
exchange line authorisation is
present, you cannot make an external call even if you have telephone book
authorisation.
Switching Telephone Book Authorisation for Subscriber On/Off
If the telephone book authorisation is enabled for a subscriber, the subscriber can dial the
phone numbers entered in the contact group
Telephone book version 1
irrespective of his
exchange line authorisation.
Proceed as follows:
•

If differently configurable functions for private and business calls are
enabled, two different configurations can be created for each subscriber –
one for private calls and one for business calls (see also chapter Functions >

urable Functions for Private and Business Calls On/Off).
