4. If you have enabled the replacement function, enter the phone number of the

Note:
For an external number that has less than five digits, the local area
code should aditionally be entered.

Announcement with enabled replacement function
list field, select one of
the available options.
Operating and Querying a Voice Mailbox
All voice messages are stored as audio files (*.wav). Up to 999 messages per box and up to
100,000 messages in the total system can be administrated.
Note:
On system telephones, new voice messages are signalled by the LED on the
message key (optional, see telephone manual)
On standard telephones and COMfortel 1100 system telephones, recently
received voice messages can also be signalled as info calls (see chapter
Voice Mail and Fax Boxes > Voice Mailbox > Switching Info Call On/Off).
In addition, the users of a voice mailbox can be informed about new voice
messages by e-mail (see chapter Voice Mail and Fax Boxes > Voice Mailbox
> Configuring E-mail Transfer for Voice Mailbox) or by SIP MWI (optional, see
chapter Voice Mail and Fax Boxes > MWI).
