COMfortel WS-Base - Instructions V05 08/2017
This section describes how to commission the device. This
includes the connection of the device, the registration at the con-
figuration Manager and the set up of an initial configuration.
Default Settings in Factory State

Access data for the Configuration Manager:

User name: admin

Password: admin
(password before firmware version 14A: ip6000)

Network settings:

DCHP enabled

Network addresses (If no DHCP server is available in the
network):

IP address: 192.168.0.1

Connecting the COMfortel WS-Base
Requirements
–
Network cable
1.
Insert one of the network cable's plugs in the RJ45 socket on
the front of the device.
2.
Insert the plug on the other end of the network cable into a
network socket with PoE power.
The LED on the front cover flashes red followed by a
steady green as soon as the WS-Base has an IP ad-
dress and is connected to the IP-DECT server.
Opening the Configuration Manager
Requirements

Network connection between the PC and the WS-Base
–
Knowledge of the WS-Base's IP address
