Setting up the Function Key for PBX Functions
The key can be assigned to up to ten programming functions on the PBX.
Requirements:
– COMpact 2204/2206/4410 USB, COMpact 4406 DSL, COMmander Basic, COMmander
Basic 19": PBX was configured using the PC program COMtools Telephone book
– COMpact-3000 series, COMpact 5010/5020 VoIP, COMmander Basic.2, COMmander
Basic.2 19", COMmander Business, and COMmander Business 19": Configuration manager,
opened with a sufficient authorization level
1. Open one of the following pages:
• COMpact 2204/2206/4410 USB, COMpact 4406 DSL, COMmander Basic, COMmander
Basic 19": Subscriber > [name or telephone number of the handset]
• COMpact-3000 series: CONFIGURATION> Internal number > ISDN subscribers (S0
internal) and then DECT settings and DECT subscriber
• COMpact 5010/5020 VoIP, COMmander Basic.2, COMmander Basic.2 19", COMmander
Business, COMmander Business 19": COMset > Internal numbers > Subscriber (scr.)
> COMfortel DECT > Program function key
2. Enter the desired programming functions:
• COMpact 2204/2206/4410 USB, COMpact 4406 DSL, COMmander Basic, COMmander
Basic 19": in the Exchange line number input fields for Short-code dial number 8200 -
8209
The following entries are possible:
• COMpact-3000 series: in the Programming function input fields under Function key
assignment
