Configuring the Settings at the PBX

For COMpact 2204/2206/4410 USB, COMpact 4406 DSL, COMmander Basic or COMmander
Basic 19" PBXs, the transmission and receipt of SMS messages needs to be configured within the
PBX configuration.

Setting up Telephone Numbers for SMS Transmission and Receipt

These settings allow the handset to receive SMS messages through an exclusive telephone number.
This telephone number is transmitted when sending SMS messages.

To send and receive SMS messages, you need to disable the normal call distribution for each 
telephone number (see 

Abb. 14

).

To send and receive SMS messages, you need to enable SMS call distribution for each
