Setting the Area Code
In some Countries, if you have to call somebody living in your city area (phone district) you don't
have to dial the related area code. With this feature you can set up your area code in order to avoid
its dialing every time you call back somebody using a number from the received call list.

This function is useful only if in your Country you don't have to dial your area code when you call a
phone number in the same area. If not, please leave this function disabled.
Changing Flash Time
During a conversation, the FLASH soft key allows you to access the special services offered by
the telephone network or transfer a call to another extension when you are connected to a PABX
(Private Automatic Branch of eXchange). For details, see
chapter Flash Signal (R Key) on page 96
.
If your FLASH soft key does not work properly, you need to adjust the Flash time as follows:
MENU
Press the MENU soft key to display the main
menu items.
SELECT
Press repeatedly the navigation keys to
choose 3.Setting, then press the SELECT soft
key.
SELECT
Press repeatedly the navigation keys to select
6.Area Code, then press the SELECT soft key.
The display will show BS Pin.

SELECT
Enter the current base PIN (preset to 0000) to
access the Area Code menu, and press the
SELECT soft key. The display will show Enter
Number.
SELECT
Enter your area code and press the SELECT
soft key.
Press the end/on/off key to return to Standby
mode.
