Recording a Call

Recording a Call

If automatic call recording is enabled, every call you make is automatically
recorded.

Notes:

Before you record a call you must always have the agreement of the call
partner. If you record the call without the knowledge of the call partner,
you make yourself liable to prosecution (breach of confidentiality of the
spoken word). For data protection reasons, the call partner should be
informed via an announcement that the call is being recorded.

The data storage device must be inserted before you can record a call
(not necessary for Comfortel 3600 IP (see chapter Important Information
> Product Details)).

Requirements:

•

answering machine (optional, see chapter Important Information >
Product Details)).

To start or end recording during a call, press the

function key

that has been

configured for starting call recording.

Alternatively, during a call, proceed as follows:

1. Tap on

to start recording the call.

2. Tap on

to stop recording the call.
