Functions

Pick-Up

Pick-Up

If the pick-up function has been enabled, you can take a call on your own 
phone that was originally sent to another internal telephone.

If the call has already been accepted, the call can be picked-up using the 
same procedure (assuming call pick-up has been permitted by the 
subscriber being called). This function is useful when dealing with, for 
example, answering machines.

Performing Pick-Up

Requirements:

• Pick-up

 permission granted in the PBX

•

Telephone is a system telephone on the PBX or pick-up is performed on 
the PBX for which the sequence

 has been entered under 

Settings 

> Providers & PBXs > Name of Provider/PBX > Special numbers > 
Keypad sequence for pickup

.

If an internal telephone rings somewhere near you, proceed as follows:

1. Tap on 

 Apps > 

 Functions > 

 Pick-up

.

Alternatively, press a 

function key

 configured for pick-up.

2. In the 

Pick-up destination

 entry field, enter the ringing telephone's 

internal number.
