6 - MAINTENANCE AND
TROUBLESHOOTING
•To preserve the performance of the HRC
70
Heat Pump it is important to carry
out proper maintenance on the appliance.
•Annual maintenance is recommended to be
carried out on the heating and hydraulic circuits
by a qualified professional.
•Always switch off the appliance before opening
it.
6.1 - General information
Once the appliance has been operating for several days, it is
important to verify that the water circuits are properly sealed.
Note :
In the case of maintenance or of decommissioning of the
appliance, it is important to respect all environmental
protection regulations for the recovery, recycling,
and elimination of all consumable materials and
components of the Heat Pump and its accessories.
6.2.1 - Water circuit
6.2 - Maintenance on the hydraulic
circuit
Maintenance of the water circuit consists of: desludging,
inspecting the filters, and stopping up any leaks that may have
appeared. Clean and replace clogged filters.

Pilot to be carried by a
qualified professional is recommended so as to preserve proper
performance of the appliance.
• Several days after initial operation with an electrical back-up,
and then again at least once per year, it is necessary to verify the
proper tightness of the electrical power connections (contactors
and immersion heaters).
• Briefly activate the desludging valve and check the water
pressure (add water to the circuit if necessary).
• Clean the filter valves.
6.2.3 - Maintenance of the heating circuit
• Purge any air from the HRC
70
Pilot.
• Check the general watertightness of the installation and of the
pressure relief valves.
• Check the water pressure. It must not be less than the pre-
charged pressure of the expansion vessel, and must never be
more than 2.5 bars when hot. If the water pressure is too low,
check the watertightness of the circuit before adding any water
to the circuit.
• Check the composition and the condition of the heating water.
• Maintenance of the hydraulic circuit consists of: cleaning the
filter, inspecting the quality of water (anti-freeze levels and pH if
freeze protection)...
